Dr. Brent Kvam performed his undergraduate work at Winona State University where he earned his pre-med degree in 1996. Dr. Kvam earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2001. He also earned his certificate as a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2003.
Dr. Brent Kvam was a member and officer of the sports council while at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He provided sideline triage for the Amazon women's rugby team and Mid-America Football League. He learned effective ways to improve athletes performance and return them from injuries more quickly.
He founded Prairie Spine in Eden Prairie in 2003. In addition to treating spinal related pains such as headaches, neck and back pain, he enjoys treating disc bulges and herniations, carpal tunnel, and rotator cuff injuries as well as injuries to shoulders, wrists, knees and feet. Many people have been able to avoid surgery with his conservative approach.
Dr. Kvam enjoys golf, tennis, running, hunting and fishing. He enjoys spending time with his wife and watching his four wonderful children with all their extra-curricular activities.
